"The Brutalist" • Must-See Movie Of The Year!
The Brutalist is one of my favorite films this year—a powerful story of an architect and his wife fleeing Nazi-occupied Hungary to start anew in America. Their journey, filled with struggle, ambition, and an unexpected commission, feels especially poignant today. No surprise it earned seven Golden Globe nominations in 2025 and took home Best Picture – Drama, Best Director, and Best Actor (Adrien Brody). Well deserved!
Golden Globe nominations:
🎬 Best Motion Picture – Drama (Won)
🎬 Best Director – Motion Picture: Brady Corbet (Won)
🎬 Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama: Adrien Brody (Won)
🎬 Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture: Felicity Jones
🎬 Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture: Guy Pearce
🎬 Best Screenplay – Motion Picture: Brady Corbet and Mona Fastvold
🎬 Best Original Score – Motion Picture: Daniel Blumberg
A must-watch for fans of historical dramas and architectural masterpieces. Have you seen it yet?
